Installaatioita / installations
The exhibition presented three installations made with children of the french school in Helsinki, École Jules Verne during the springterm 2012.
The youngest group (3-4 years) worked with Henriikka Härkönen, making train cars and exploring different materials.
The 4-5 year olds worked with Emma Rönnholm turning plastic packaging material into a cityscape. The finished installation is lit and rotates slowly, creating a play of shadows on the walls.
The oldest group (5-6 years) made jumping jacks of crocodiles and elephants, automated with a motor for the exhibition.
Artistes à l'école is a project of the french school in Helsinki, École Jules Verne, that invites artists to the school to share their artistic practise with the children.
